Your shiny new metasearch campaigns are live, but now what happens?

🎉 Congratulations, you're metasearch campaigns are live! 

We appreciate you allowing us to manage your metasearch advertising and we take that responsibility very seriously.

We strive to make managing your metasearch advertising as easy as possible. 

To that end, we’ve developed the following tools to make it easy for you to maximize your metasearch advertising performance.

Reporting

Your reports are available on demand within your portal. And it’s the data you’d expect from a media channel: Impressions data, clicks, CTR, conversion percentage, bookings and of course, revenue.

The reports are updated nightly and are current through yesterday. If you have a one-off reporting request, please don’t hesitate to reach out - we can probably help.


Support

Within your portal, you can use the chat widget to submit info, ask questions, or even request a meeting with your campaign optimization specialist. You can also use chat to submit a support ticket if anything’s awry. We’re standing by ready to assist!

If you happen to utilize marketing services through our parent company, GCommerce Solutions, you can also reach out to your client success manager for your metasearch support needs. 


Billing

If you've signed up for flat fee metasearch management, this does not pertain to you.

If you’re billing model includes the opportunity to review reservations data, and remove cancellations, all of this takes place within the portal.

We populate your reservation data from the month prior by the 5th of each month. You then have until to the 15th of the month to log in, review, and indicate any cancellations by simply adding an ‘X’ to those reservations.


Need Periods Data and New Promo

One of the biggest differences between us and other metasearch providers is our willingness to help you use metasearch to address your need periods.

In short, we’re able to adjust bids for the following:

    • Booking Window

    • Length of Stay

    • Day of Week

    • Device Type

When you submit your need periods, we’re able to ensure your metasearch ad is more prominent on days you need reservations (or the right type of reservations) and remove you entirely for dates or searches you don’t want (like a one-night stay during high occupancy periods)

We also need to know about new promos you’ve channeled to meta. As a rule of thumb, any promotion you run on OTA’s should be available through your direct channels, including meta. When you submit promo details to us, we can take action on our end to make sure Google promotes these promos through slash-through pricing and deal badges.


To make collecting this data easy, there are two options.

  1. First, we sent an email requesting this info on the 20th of each month, please be on the lookout.

  2. Second, you can submit ad hoc data at any time from within your dashboard’s left-side navigation
